National Rent to Own started in 1984. Our first store opened in Overland, Missouri in April that year. Today we have thirty-four stores in Missouri and Illinois. Right out of the box we offered the very best and latest of technology… VCR's! Today our goals are the same, to offer high-quality products for you and your home in the most affordable manner. Furniture, Appliances, TV's, Computers, even Smart phones and phone service. Paying weekly, biweekly, semi monthly or monthly, we make it easy!

Our success is due to providing our great customers with outstanding service, selection and quality products. We are large enough to give a great selection but small enough so we can still provide the “small company” personal service our customers deserve. We will never lose sight of the reason for our success: You the Customer!

What is Rent to Own?

“Rent to Own” or “Lease Purchase” is a unique transaction where customers rent or lease household products with the option to purchase without being obligated beyond the first payment. The lack of obligation means there is no loan and no interest is charged. No debt means the item may be returned at any time. All rates and prices quoted on this website are in United States currency.

Because there are no credit requirements most people can qualify, and delivery is normally the same day.

The consumer has the option to purchase the product at anytime and if the product is rented for a specified term (usually 12 to 24 months) the ownership is automatically transferred to the consumer.

• Uploading files or links that contain viruses or programs (e.g., malware, worm, bot, Trojan horse, etc.) that could damage the operation of other individual’s devices;

• Any User Content that infringes or depicts another party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other proprietary rights including rights of publicity or rights of privacy;

• Any User Content that is illegal or that encourages or promotes the violation of any law, ordinance or regulation or that encourages criminal conduct or hazardous activity;

• Any type of item that addresses legal action involving NRTO’s, solicits individuals to engage in legal action against NRTO's, or offers other legal advice;

• Posting of any personal information including, but not limited to, email address, phone number, and/or order number without obtaining prior express permission from that person; or

• Any User Content that is irrelevant or off-topic or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate.

If you post a photo, video or comment that includes the name or image of someone other than yourself, you must have permission of that person to post to this page. NRTO reserves the right to delete any posts that do not adhere to NRTO's House Rules. We also reserve the right to block any individual who violates these House Rules from posting on the NRTO Facebook Page. Repeat offenders may be removed from the NRTO Facebook Page.
